System Requirements
- Microsoft Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows 7
- Your computer must be up to date on all Microsoft
updates and patches, including Service Pack 2, and the optional update for .NET
Framework 3.5.

An internet connection is not
required to run CakeBoss after initial installation, in the event
you have a laptop that you take to bridal consultations or other business meetings.
Just be sure to connect to the internet every few weeks to check for updates!

Attention Mac users:
Although CakeBoss
is not technically Mac compatible, we have had limited success* with Mac users installing
CakeBoss on a Mac running Windows inside a Windows emulator such as Parallels
or VM Fusion.
*So what does "limited success" mean? It means that the users who have
tried it report back to us that it works -- in fact, nobody's ever told us that
it didn't work. But since we are not a Mac shop, we cannot test it
ourselves or guarantee a successful installation.
